When reading negative reviews about this movie, it's not difficult to imagine what these people are like.
People who didn't like this movie, were probably beaten with a goodtime as a child.
The level of "Karen" that reviewed this not only wants to speak to your manager, but is going to tell her friends about it over lunch specials at Applebee's, where she will tip 10% if she can get her appetizer comped.
The type that doesn't recognise hyperbole, sarcasm or the people who used to care for them.

Hot Rod: The movie with the greatest "Random Precision" used in film since any movie ever. You'll find no movie with better intrigue, drama, action, but most of all the SOUL. Bottlenosed Dolphins are accurately represented in this incredible film. Hot Rod's graceful decent symbolizes the fall of AM radio which highlights the already glaring foreshadowing of the AM vs FM radio. The riot Symbolizes the undying passion of the spirit of daredevils. Hot Rod will intoxicate you from beginning to end giving you the greatest experience of your entire life. 10/10

I have never laughed in any movie as hard as I laughed in this one. The scene where Andy Samberg (or his stunt person) falls down the hill is the best physical comedy ever filmed.

Not really into the dumb humor. If you are, maybe you'll like it, but it's just a bunch of over dramatic, ridiculous humor that is hardly funny. Watched half of the movie, haven't laughed yet....turning it off

What did I just watch?
I will never get that 80 plus minutes back. The end? Seriously, Andy?
I'm an 80's kid. This was actually painful to watch. It was easier watching "Back to the Future." (Also hard to watch, but less hard than this). If you're stoned, or in a full body cast and have watched all other movies including "Cone Heads" this is certainly a thing you can watch.
If you have problems with my review, Andy, come say it to my face.

I was putting up with it for the most part because I like most of the actors and actresses in this movie...in other projects. but I stopped hard when they started doing the cool whip gag from family guy. there are often times in this movie where it's pretty obvious they didn't know what to do to fill the scene so someone just improvised something random. like them all standing around a pool ringing a bell and trying to match the sound with their voice...the kinda stuff toddlers do.
This movie felt like i had already been watching it an hour by the time I realized it had only been about 20 minutes. trying too hard is putting it mildly. What they were trying for it seems was a so bad it's good movie...what they got was it's so bad it's going to cause brain cancer...
